Gainesville man charged with raping 15-year-old he met on Snapchat – Alachua Chronicle

September 17, 2022 BY JENNIFER CABRERA GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Shawn Radell Nunn, Jr., 20, was arrested yesterday and charged with three counts of sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 16. The victim told Alachua County Sheriff’s Officer on March 2, 2022, that she had been a victim of sexual battery. She said she had met a man named “Shawn” on Snapchat but didn’t know his last name. She gave detectives some possibilities for last names, and after detectives did some research, they found Nunn, who resembled a photo provided by the victim. The victim positively identified Nunn in a double-blind photo lineup. Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The victim told investigators that she began chatting with Nunn on Snapchat in late 2020 and that he was supportive of her when she was going through a hard time and needed support. She said they first met in person in March of 2021 when Nunn asked her to meet him at a park near her house. Deputies respond to Clackamas High on report of armed student; three juveniles detained …

At approximately 11:26 a.m. this morning (Friday, Sept. 16, 2022), the Clackamas High School Resource Officer (SRO) alerted dispatch to a Snapchat video depicting a student holding what appeared to be a firearm in a restroom at Clackamas High. Deputies responded. The first unit arrived on scene approximately 2 minutes later. Deputies worked with school officials to locate and detain two of the students seen in the Snapchat video. Deputies learned of a third possibly involved outstanding student, and Clackamas High was placed in lockdown. Deputies worked with school officials to locate the third student and took the juvenile into custody. Deputies also recovered a realistic-looking CO2-powered replica pistol. The investigation is ongoing. The lockdown was lifted, and there is no threat to Clackamas High students at this time. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking additional information in this case. Investigators say West End High School Snapchat threat was fake – Gadsden Times
