The impact that these apps have on our lives is immeasurable and at the same time it has opened up several opportunities for the people. (WSAZ) - A man is behind bars after Kentucky State Police say he created a fake Snapchat and got pictures from two children.Lonnie Williams is charged with possession/view matter portraying sexual performance by minor, prohibited use of electronic communications system to procure minor/peace offer: sex offenses, promoting a minor (U/16) in sex performance, sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim u/12 years of age.Troopers say on March 28, they got a complaint of a person possibly having child pornography in his possession. Snap is reportedly iterating on the next generation version of Spectacles — a smart glasses product it first launched in late 2016. The latest generation of Spectacles would enable users to view augmented reality (AR) effects through their glasses without the use of an accompanying smartphone, The Verge reports, and is part of a renewed push into hardware devices by Snap that could also comprise the launch of a camera drone. Snap has popularized AR with its Lenses, a signature feature that transforms selfies and scenes on smartphones with a variety of visual effects. The new Spectacles would appear to bring this capability to a wearable headset. That said, the reported Spectacles will initially target developers and creators rather than consumers, with the intention that developers create Lenses that will ultimately be used by the everyday wearer. The Spectacles evolution was first reported by The Information, which notes that Snap is likely to unveil the product at its Partner Summit developer conference on May 20. Snapchat is reportedly developing a new, fully AR-enabled version of its Spectacles smart glasses, which would be a major advance for the product, and for Snapchat's broader plans with augmented reality. As reported by The Information, Snap's currently developing a more advanced version of Spectacles, which will include in-lens AR displays. As per The Information: "Unlike past models of Snap’s smart glasses though, this version of the product is not meant for the consumer market but is instead aimed at developers and creators. Those groups are already the creative force behind many of the wildly popular AR effects on the Snapchat app for mobile phones, known as lenses. Snap likely hopes the developers will come up with software experiences that can work on the new device, which could be offered to a wider group of customers at some point in the future." So, rather than take on the full development load of AR-enabled glasses and their various offerings alone, Snap is seemingly looking to expand its pool of development resources externally, which could help it take that next step. James Charles has been accused of sending flirtatious messages to a 16-year-old boy in a series of revealing videos and screenshots that follow a number of previous allegations in February.  Beauty YouTuber and social media star James Charles has faced a number of accusations in recent weeks. In February, a 16-year-old fan alleged in a TikTok video that the YouTuber sent nude pictures of himself before “pressuring” the fan to do the same. Showing screenshots of the alleged exchange in the video, the fan said that “he started making the conversation very sexual, and it made me really uncomfortable.” The 21-year-old responded afterward with an online statement, calling the accusations “completely false.” He claimed that the fan had initially said they were 18, and said that when he found out the fan was underage, he told the fan he was “really uncomfortable” with the situation and unfriended him.
