Coming into Friday, each of the top-7 marks in collegiate history in the men’s distance medley relay all happened in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Well, that number grew after a scintillating race on Friday afternoon. Washington led a pack of five teams to sub-9:26 marks at the Arkansas Qualifier. The Huskies won the event in 9:21.10, which made them the third-fastest program with the fourth-fastest performance in collegiate history. In the rearview, a singular Tumblr era has taken hold of the cultural consciousness. Known as the 2014 Tumblr Girl aesthetic, the overall vibe involves a devotion to American Apparel, subversive teen series Skins, the black-and-white filter, Lorde, and Matty Healy of The 1975. But there's so much more to Tumblr, the blogging platform that raised an entire generation of fangirls and artists, than one aesthetic. Coming out of Inglewood, Rucci has been making quite the name for himself with his music. The artist has been dropping a steady stream of projects over the last few months, and just this past weekend, he came through with a seven-track EP called Dawgshit. In the year 2014, the “Tumblr Girl” aesthetic was something that plagued the internet and consumed many teenagers during that time. It involved dark and depressing images, the glorification of drug abuse, a fascination with artists like Lana Del Rey and Marina and the Diamonds and dark clothing. Tumblr is adding a new option for users to monetize their content. It is the second monetization function that Tumblr presents in a few months, but with a different proposal. New option to monetize content on Tumblr As the Tumblr team announced, it is adding a new source of monetization. This time, the idea revolves around a “tip jar.” Yes, users will be able to support their favorite bloggers and content creators from the same post. The dynamic is simple. You will see this new “Tip” option at the bottom of the post along with the rest of the options to interact with the content. Once this option is chosen, it only remains to specify the amount of money that you want to send to the content creator or choose some of the suggestions that you see in a drop-down menu. And if you want, you can send a message along with the tip, keeping in mind that it will be published, or you can choose to remain anonymous. The number of electric vehicles (EVs) sold worldwide reached 6.5 million in 2021, Canalys estimates on the global electric vehicle market. EVs include fully electric and plug-in hybrid passenger cars. The global car market grew just 4 percent in 2021 as it continued to struggle with COVID-19 restrictions and chip shortages. EV sales represented 9 percent of all passenger car sales in 2021. 85 percent of EVs sold globally were delivered to customers in Mainland China and Europe. 3.2 million EVs were sold in 2021 in Mainland China, accounting for 15 percent of all new cars sold. 2.3 million EVs were sold in Europe, accounting for 19 percent of new cars. Just 4 percent of new cars sold in the US in 2021 were EVs, some 535,000 units. Few companies have seen such a roller coaster over a decade as WCW in the 1990s. It was still under the NWA banner when the '90s began before transforming into WCW. They underwent some major highs with the nWo but some huge lows as well. That included in gimmicks as this decade was packed with some truly awful stuff for WCW. It's easy to look at the bad characters and matches abounding, yet some gimmicks really do stand out. What's harder is that some years in WCW were packed with so much bad stuff that it's hard to narrow it down to just one. While a couple of choices are obvious, others aren't as famous, yet stand out as pretty bad.
