In the last 48 hours, PlayStation’s YouTube page was getting a lot of action, and not for the right reason. PlayStation was heavily promoting a game that’s set to be released pretty soon,  Ebola Village . The game has caught a lot of attention, for all the wrong reasons. Gamers were quick to notice that the font usage for the title, look, and gameplay were a lot like Resident Evil: Village , among other titles from the RE franchise. The backlash was so intense on the video post that PlayStation made the video private. I’ve heard about  Ebola Village  before, and not for the right reasons, so to see that it’s being released for consoles, and that SONY was pushing ads for it, that’s got my head scratching. The game, developed by Russian game developer Indie Games Studio (such an original company name), goes by many names, but the common term being used to describe it is Shovelware Slop. Shovelware is the tech/gaming version of Mockbusters, where low-quality copies of softwhere is massed produced and sold. INTRODUCTION: This is an adaptation from the bestseller Japanese novel written by Harada Maha, the heroine of this heartwarming and slice-of-life tale is Kang Yeo-reum (Gong Seung Yeon). Cobb County announced in a news release that four individuals recently graduated from the Cobb County Drug Treatment Court, marking a powerful step forward in their recovery journeys. The ceremony, held in the Jury Assembly Room at Cobb Superior Court, celebrated their achievements alongside judges, court staff, attorneys, elected officials, and supportive family and friends. The Drug Treatment Court offers an 18-to-24-month voluntary alternative to incarceration for individuals facing substance use disorders. Participants undergo intensive judicial supervision, receive tailored treatment, and benefit from a comprehensive support system designed to help them rebuild their lives and reenter the community as productive citizens. The graduates’ accomplishments span sobriety, education, and family reunification. One participant was reunited with her children, a milestone she credits to the structure and support of the program. “Drug Treatment Court helped me find my way back home. I didn’t have the resources or accountability I needed to recover, and previous attempts hadn’t worked. This program gave me the tools to stay sober and held me accountable for my actions.
