"We're not trying to create virality, but always open to move with that when and if it happens," says Ourness co-founder Andrew Klippel. Andrew Klippel Courtesy Photo Over the past year, Australian rock duo Royel Otis has burst onto the global stage with a series of hits, each bigger than the last. But the band had already seen significant success in their home country, with a trio of EPs — Campus, Bar n Grill and Sofa Kings — and a debut album, Pratts & Pain, on indie label Ourness, which won them awards, recognition and a loyal fan base down under, and some traction on U.S. radio. But it was two one-off cover performances for radio stations in 2024 that propelled them into the mainstream. The first, a cover of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor,” recorded for Triple J radio in Australia, rocketed to No. 2 on Alternative Airplay last July. And the second, a cover of The Cranberries’ “Linger” recorded for SiriusXM’s live sessions, became their first Hot 100 entry last August, coming in at No. 94 and announcing the band’s arrival. Last November, Ourness partnered with Capitol to propel Royel Otis further, and that development is

Abrams and LaToya Morgan. The news comes less than a week after the Season 1 finale debuted on the platform. It is not entirely surprising because Duster, starring Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson, wasn’t able to generate a lot of buzz and viewer interest. Those who tuned in, largely liked what they saw — Duster is averaging 92% among critics and 83% among general viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. The series from Warner Bros. and Abrams’ studio-based Bad Robot also remains in the daily Top 10 on HBO Max but it has not been able to get into the Nielsen Top 10 for streaming originals and barely cracked Luminate’s list of Top 50 streaming originals in its fourth week at the last #50 spot. “While HBO Max will not be moving forward with a second season of Duster, we are so grateful to have had the chance to work with the amazingly talented co-creators J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan, and our partners at Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television,”

The database breach includes e-mail addresses and passwords, although the latter is less compromised. Tumblr stated that they have taken the procedure of ‘salting and hashed’ the passwords, which made them relatively irrelevant as it is virtually impossible to restore to a usable state. The hacker who obtained the sensitive information is believed to be a Russian cybercriminal which is also linked to a number of recent data hacks. The stolen information was being sold on the darknet website, The Real Deal, at a price of USD 150. The data hack is one of the multiple security breaches as of late. The others include LinkedIn, Adobe, and Myspace.

Tameka "Tiny" Harris and T.I. at the BET Awards 2025 held at the Peacock Theater on June 9, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. Earl Gibson III for Variety A federal judge has pared down T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ $71 million jury verdict over claims that toymaker MGA’s line of “O.M.G.” dolls copied their real-life teen pop group OMG Girlz, teeing up the long-running dispute for a whopping fourth trial. The Tuesday (July 8) order from Judge James V. Selna is the latest in T.I. (Clifford Harris) and his wife Tiny’s battle with billionaire MGA owner Isaac Larian. Since 2020, MGA has been vehemently opposing the Harrises’ claim that the O.M.G. dolls rip off the name, outfits and neon-colored hair of the OMG Girlz — a defunct musical trio created by Tiny and featuring her daughter Zonnique “Star” Pullins. An initial trial in the case ended in a mistrial in January 2023 due to improper testimony about racism, and a jury cleared MGA of all wrongdoing at a second trial the following May. But that verdict

The deadly attack was a drone strike against Bint Jbeil, where an attack on a vehicle killed one person and wounded two others. The victims were not identified, though the IDF as usual claimed it had killed someone from the “elite Radwan Force.” Another attack was reported against a house in Hasbaya District, wounding one. Another was wounded in an attack near the town of Shebaa, and two others were seriously wounded in an attack on a car near Shaqra.
