Popular Kick streamer Rangesh "N3on", or Neon, is recently making headlines after getting banned from Twitch, the Amazon-owned platform where he used to make content before switching. However, another piece of news pertaining to the streamer is garnering a lot of traction on social media, with clips of Charli D'Amelio supposedly calling out Rangesh for being disrespectful going viral on X. N3on has already accrued a fair few controversies over his not-so-long career, and his Twitch ban has started a lot of speculation on social media, with fans pondering the exact reason for the suspension. The ban was reported by the Streamerbans bot on X, formerly Twitter, which is known to track suspensions of Twitch partners. The Streamerbans x ACCOUNT also notes this was Rangesh's first ban on the platform. However, a conversation about his alleged behavior with Charli D'Amelio at a party from a few weeks ago has taken over social media. Pikachu needs our help fighting crime on the Stevetendo show! Tonight, on the Stevetendo show, we’re jumping back into our Detective Pikachu Returns playthrough. We’re working hard to become the best detectives in all of Rhyme City. During the last Detective Pikachu Returns episode, Pikachu was accused of a crime he didn’t commit and sent to jail for it. While in the slammer, we met other Pokemon who were also incarcerated for crimes they didn’t commit. Pikachu made nice with the gang leader, Luxray, and now they’re working together to figure out what’s going on as well as why so many Pokemon are put in jail. On the plus side, we have Tim working on the outside and gathering information to try and help Pikachu get out of jail. News (Image credit: Kick.com) Twitch rival Kick, backed by co-founders of the Stake gambling platform, has spent a lot of money on streamers in 2023. The biggest deal by far was a reported $100 million contract for Canadian megastar xQc in January, but it recently signed up FaZe Clan co-owner and popular Call of Duty streamer Nick "Nickmercs" Kolcheff for an eight-figure sum.On his first-ever Kick stream last week, Nickmercs had this to say: "The first question I've been seeing is like, 'Nick, are you gonna do gambling streams?' We’re gonna do some gambling for sure. It’s part of the contract, y'know."Confusingly, Kick's head of partnerships then denied Nickmercs' contract contained any gambling clause, but the devil's in the detail. Esports reporter Jake Lucky later clarified that we were dealing with some very fine definitions here: Nickmercs has a Stake contract as well as a Kick contract.Nickmercs basically confirmed what many had suspected: that Stake is throwing money at streamers to promote gambling via Kick. The conflict has everybody up in arms, raising awareness and taking action for what they believe is right. Pokimane is no exception to this humanitarian crisis. The famous Twitch streamer posted an Instagram story about her decision to boycott major fast-food companies such as McDonald’s and Starbucks. She says the decision comes from the reluctance of such chains to take a stance about the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. This comes as a surprise as not too long ago, Pokimane had actually encouraged her viewers to try a new matcha drink at Starbucks. However, due to these companies not supporting a ceasefire, she has asked her fans not to support such businesses. Before Insomniac created its stellar Spider-Man trilogy and before Treyarch redefined web-swinging with the 2004 Spider-Man 2 movie tie-in game, the folks at Neversoft gave Spidey fans the best example of wall-crawling video game excellence with its 2000 take on the character. As Spider-Man's first fully 3D action-adventure game, it laid the groundwork for mechanics such as web-swinging, a variety of web shooter attacks, and wall-crawling stealth gameplay.
