An easter egg found on Apex Legends’ brand-new Lifeline Town Takeover on Olympus may hint at map changes to Kings Canyon and a new moon-themed BR map. The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event didn’t just bring new cosmetics, Valkyrie’s Heirloom, and the return of Control, it also brought a brand-new Town Takeover. As well as some buffs, Lifeline got her very own POI on Olympus called the Clinic, which definitely holds a few secrets. Some players in the Apex Legends community have discovered some easter eggs in the new POI which may be hinting at both Kings Canyon changes and the next BR map. Lifeline’s new Town Takeover on Olympus brings new life to the northeastern side of the map, sitting just behind the Gardens POI. Since 1.98 patch dropped on June 21, players have been getting to grips with this new POI and all it has to offer. The Future X is celebrating Pride with style. The TikTok supergroup, who were put together by American Idol creator Simon Fuller in January, recently collab’d with e.l.f Cosmetics on June 1 to talk about what makes them who they are.Fuller, who’s managed huge acts like the Spice Girls, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson, created The Future X on TikTok by doing a worldwide search on the platform for upcoming singers and dancers. On Jan. 26, Fuller announced he’d chosen Angie Green, Luke Brown, Maci Wood, Jayna Hughes, Sasha Marie, Tray Taylor, and Drew Venegas to become The Future X. Russia has fined Airbnb, Twitch and Pinterest for violating the country’s personal data legislation, Reuters reports. On Tuesday, a court in Moscow ordered all three companies to pay fines of 2 million roubles (approximately $37,700) for not storing the data of Russian citizens within the country. The decision came after Russia’s Roskomnadzor internet commission opened administrative cases against the three platforms in May. Airbnb, Twitch and Pinterest did not immediately respond to Engadget’s request for comment. In the years to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, US tech firms would sporadically attract the attention of Russian regulators, leading to conflicts over the country’s approach to content, censorship and local data representation. Since the war began, those disputes have intensified in both frequency and severity as the west has moved to punish Russia for the war. In May, for instance, Google’s Russian division filed for bankruptcy after authorities seized its bank account. The search giant said the move had made it “untenable” for the office to pay employees and suppliers. (file photo) A court in Moscow has fined the holiday rental company Airbnb, video streaming service Twitch, United Parcel Shipping (UPS), and the Pinterest image sharing and social media service for failing to localize the storage of the personal data of their users amid a government campaign to gain more control over the Internet in Russia. The Magistrates Court in Moscow’s Taganka district ordered Twitch, Airbnb, and Pinterest on June 28 to pay 2 million rubles ($37,500) each for failing to abide by a law that requires the local storage of user data. The court ordered UPS to pay a fine of 1 million rubles on the same charge. President Vladimir Putin has accused international tech giants of flouting the country's Internet laws, including Moscow's efforts to force foreign firms to open offices in Russia. In recent months, Moscow courts have fined Google, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, and TikTok over the personal data issue, as well as for refusing to delete content deemed to have been banned under Russian law. Ibai hosted the boxing event, which began on Saturday, June 25 at 11:30 am EDT or 8:30 am PDT, on his Twitch channel. With the first fight of the event between Carola vs Spursito scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm EDT, viewership steadily climbed in anticipation of the first fight. Just before the first fight kicked off, Ibai surpassed TheGrefg’s previous record of 2,468,668 concurrent viewers with his view count still climbing as the event continued. A BOURNEMOUTH man who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease a year ago, is fundraising for a better quality of life for himself and his family. In June 2021, at the age of 36, James Smith was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Once a keen runner, he had previously completed a number of half marathons to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association but he never thought he would suffer from the debilitating disease himself. He said: “What started life as an innocent twitch in my arm has now slowly progressed into twitching in most of my upper body and now little to no strength in my arms and hands. “The progressive nature of this disease will eventually lead to me having no muscle strength and even the ability to swallow and, last of all, to breathe. “With no cure and little to no treatment available to help me, I have no choice but to research and find alternative medications from other countries. “The medicines from these countries have promising results in slowing down the progression of MND, but as you can imagine, these come at a considerable cost. “Still, I’m willing to try anything to help alleviate and…
