They have a diverse set of threats in the attack. Portland has nine goal-scorers, with Simone Charley and Sophia Smith leading the team with five goals each. Pokimane faces backlash for using AAVE language in Twitch stream title – Sportskeeda

Pokimane is perhaps one of the most beloved Twitch streamers right now. This is why her fans found themselves conflicted over the below matter.Recently, the internet star used AAVE (African American Vernacular English) on the title of her Twitch stream. The Valorant broadcast she uploaded was titled:"on god frfr? it's bussin up in here... boutta 360 no scope 1 tap headshot a mf".It is unclear if using AAVE is a trend, but pop icon Olivia Rodrigo was also recently called out for using it.The problem with AAVE is its misappropriation in current pop culture, especially in memes or TikTok. Since AAVE is derived from the African American community, it is understandable why it can be considered offensive when others use it.Since people learned of these phrases and the like from memes and TikTok, many people have been using, or rather misappropriating, AAVE without knowing it. For all they know, it is either Gen Z slang or just a pop-culture thing.Needless to say, Twitter is torn between its love yet momentary frustration towards Pokimane at the moment.she talks about it more in her vod apparently (did not watch) but i saw this clip from today of her talking about aave, do…

This Twitch Streamer Was Scammed Out Of Thousands Of Dollars – SVG

× Cookies help us deliver our Services. By using our Services, you agree to our use of cookies. Learn More. It's no secret that scammers these days are pretty advanced — text messages and emails can look 100% legit. Unfortunately, one streamer found that out the hard way. NRG Lulu, who's part of the group that just solved the case of missing streamers Hamlinz and Daequan and that clowned on the esports exam, woke up Thursday morning to a scam that almost cost her $5,000. Lulu went over everything that happened on stream. Everything started with a text message "warning" Lulu that someone was trying to send themselves $5,000 from her Zelle account. She messaged back that it wasn't her, and the scammer — still posing as her bank — told her to expect a phone call from its fraud department. Lulu answered the fake fraud worker, explaining the situation and following their instructions. Essentially, the scammer wanted her to "send herself" $5,000 to secure the funds. Unfortunately, Lulu still trusted the person on the phone and gave them a security code that Wells Fargo had sent her. Once that happened, she realized that she had made a mistake as she…
