Scott The Woz is one of the most popular gaming channels on YouTube, boasting over 1.25 million subscribers on the platform while his Twitter has just under 300,000. On December 29, the YouTuber mysteriously had all of his previous tweets deleted and replaced with either nonsensical posts or retweets of pro-hacking websites. “Like this and Scott gets his sh*t back within the hour,” one of the hackers said in a post advertising a website by an individual named YARIS. TwitterHackers started promoting their website. It’s unclear if YARIS is the same person who gained access to Scott’s account, but it had been created as early as April 2009. Scott’s Twitter handle was also changed to advertise the hacking website. TwitterScott’s name and handle were both changed. Fans of Wozniak, however, decided to fight back and issue mass reports to Twitter, telling…

Croatia was rocked by a strong earthquake on December 29, that reportedly killed multiple people and was felt as far away as Rome. One person who felt the quake first hand was Perkz, who was streaming live on Twitch when it happened. During the broadcast, things started off quite normal with the player competing in a League match when suddenly loud noises began to be heard off-screen, startling the Croatian. “Holy sh*t,” he swore as his room began to bobble up and down, sending his webcam into a frenzy. December 28, 2020Favoritism among decision-makers on Twitch has been a major talking point within the streaming community, and if one streamer is to be believed, it’s a very real phenomenon. In a since-deleted discussion on Twitch, streamer QTCinderella alleged that she had heard of admissions of favorable treatment for certain streamers by moderators at Twitch. QTCinderella recounted a discussion of a NSFW video accidentally becoming part of Ludwig Ahgren’s broadcast, and how they received no punishment due to a moderator being a fan of his. “I was like ‘you should probably delete your VOD, because if you got banned you’d be so upset.’ Before he could even delete it, it was already deleted and he got a message from his manager that was like ‘yo, you didn’t get banned because my boss likes you,’” QTCinderella said. The comments clearly had QTCinderella frustrated. She noted that this sort of blatant favoritism shouldn’t be how Twitch operates, given how streamers’ livelihood depends on the fair and equitable enforcement of the company’s rules. Does Twitch play favorites between streamers? There are a slew of examples of popular streamers avoiding bans or receiving unusually short bans for unclear reasons. The…

Usually on any social media/streaming site for that matter, gaining followers is generally considered a good thing, but recently on Twitch, several big streamers have seen their numbers absolutely explode through the use of bots. Now, let’s make it clear before we go on that it’s highly unlikely that any of the affected streamers are to blame, as view or follow botting is a bannable offense on Twitch. Instead, it’s probably a random person or group of people behind the flood of new accounts and follows. Twitch: SodapoppinSodapoppin has climbed to become one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, but that doesn’t explain his recent uptick in followers. Around December 17-18, Soda’s follow count doubled almost instantly, rocketing him up to nearly 7 million subscribers overall — a gain of almost 3.5 million in just one day, numbers that are simply unheard of in any situation. Morris wasn’t the only streamer to be affected though, not by…
Read moreDetailsxQc has opened up about the cheats folder stored in his PC, which according to him is not what the name suggests, rather far from it. A folder named cheats has greater implications for someone like xQc’s who plays competitive games all time. It is natural for the audience to quickly pick up something like that when it is broadcasted on a live stream with thousands watching. Given the popularity of his channel, it would have been a disappointing outcome if those were real cheats stored in the folder. “Whenever you download a game like Pokemon and you have a randomizer, and your randomizer, there’s something called ‘cheats,’ and those cheats are like to make the game different,” “If you’re doing a certain run, you have to use a cheats folder. It’s called cheats because you’re cheating the game, you’re cheating it. Either to make it harder, or easier.” explained xQc The statement relived a lot of his loyal fans who couldn’t imagine xQc as a cheater. His reason behind having it was more than justified. Such names for Pokemon cheats are normal and they are nothing illegal. Not just Pokemon, cheats were a common term back in the day…

Shroud is one of the biggest and most consistent content creators in all of gaming, but he may not always want to be that. He has an idea of what he wants to do beyond streaming. When Shroud is done fragging it up online in front of tens of thousands of viewers daily, he says he would be interested in owning a game studio. It is pretty clear that Shroud has a gigantic passion for video games, and not just being very good at them. Shroud often has strong opinions on games, suggesting which titles should be game of the year, what gun should be buffed or nerfed in big online shooters, or which upcoming title should be on everyone's radar. But he also has a dream of one day owning a studio, and he mentioned this idea in a recent stream, bringing up the idea while discussing the fact that Vin Diesel owns a part of a game studio. Michael Grzesiek is a huge success wherever he streams, as his skills on the keyboard and mouse…

Twitch streamer Imane "Pokimane" Anys hosted a short Christmas stream unboxing gifts sent from her fans. Pokimane was surprised by many gifts including rare Pokemon cards, several stuffed animals, a pair of Mario-themed shoes, and much more. However, one odd gift stood out to the streamer while she opened presents. Pokimane is currently the most-followed female Twitch streamer with around 6.8 million followers. With so many followers, Pokimane is often subject to strange encounters with viewers and followers. During the unboxing gifts stream, Pokimane received a 4-page letter in the form of a "boyfriend resume," which lists several accomplishments including a college degree, a couple AI writing projects, and some gaming achievements. The resume also includes life goals and a QR code for Pokimane to scan to see pictures of the potential boyfriend. While Pokimane seemed impressed with the accomplishments and details in the resume, the gaming achievement section led to the streamer rejecting the offer. The gaming section of the resume lists favorite multiplayer games including Call of Duty: Warzone and Fall Guys. While the resume lists 23 wins on Warzone, it also…
