First technologies emerge, and then they converge. Blockchain and extended reality technologies have been knocking on one another’s doors for a while now and doors are starting to open. Without getting too deep into that rabbit hole, a token is a unique string of characters that a computer comes up with, in the process of recording and packaging long strings of data. Snap has improving momentum coming out of the pandemic with its younger audience being attractive to advertisers, the analyst notes. Snap more than doubled its advertiser count year-over-year in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020 and reached its highest number of advertisers to date. “The strength in advertisers is an inflection point for Snap in our view as its product investments are bearing fruit.” Snap is focused on video content for advertisers and has been pushing with augmented reality. The girls, a 12-year-old from Richland School District, two 14-year-olds from the Greater Johnstown School District and a 14-year-old from Ferndale Area School District, face multiple charges in juvenile court of felony arson, causing catastrophe, trespassing and endangering another person, according to the Tribune-Democrat. On April 3, the girls allegedly used bug spray and Lysol to spark a blaze at an unoccupied house in Ferndale Borough. “They placed a shoebox on the couch and threw lit pieces of paper into the box that had been sprayed with accelerant,” Chief John Blake said, according to the outlet. The girls reportedly told police that they “were bored.” One of the girls shared video of them starting the fire on Snapchat, and other photos of them at the scene watching their alleged handiwork also appeared on social media.
