Speaking in the Senate on Monday, Dar condemned the spread of false information in the wake of rising regional tensions and urged restraint amid escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. "Pakistan has made no such statement. This is an extremely irresponsible and fabricated claim," he said. He warned that "war is no joke" and reaffirmed that the country’s nuclear and missile programmes are purely for self-defence. Over the past several years, many accounts – both personal and professional – have left X (formerly Twitter) for various reasons. Last Thursday, June 12, legendary metal label Nuclear Blast Records  revealed that they’re leaving the divisive social media platform (with no explicit reason given), leading to substantial confusion and contention amongst followers. Nuclear Blast Records’ Post + X’s Recent Divisiveness In their official announcement on X (which you can view below), Nuclear Blast Records wrote, “See ya!” next to a waving hand emoji. Also included in the tweet is an image stating: “We’re leaving X in 48 hours . . . But the riffs continue over on: Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Facebook, YouTube & Spotify. See you there!” That’s all they said, and as of this writing, their X account – which currently has over 231,000 followers – is still active (albeit with no newer posts). On that note, though, Nuclear Blast Records is far from the only significant account to declare that they’re bidding farewell to X over the last few years. Jack Conan and Jordie Barrett scored a pair of tries in the first 20 minutes and the Leinster Rugby defense snuffed out all scoring attempts by the Vodacom Bulls. DALLAS – NM State student-athletes Bailey Bowles and Angela Korte have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom and in competition, earning spots on the 2025 Conference USA All-Academic Team, announced in a press release on Friday afternoon. Graduate student Bailey Bowles , a Roswell native, boasts a perfect 4.00 GPA in Communication Disorders. In addition to her academic accolades – including the 2025 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal and Honor Roll selection – Bowles made her mark in the javelin and discus this season. She recorded the top javelin throw of the year for the Aggies (44.74m), secured four top-10 finishes, and earned a first-place finish at the Greyhound Open. She also competed in the discus at the CUSA Outdoor Championships. Junior Angela Korte  from Albuquerque holds a 3.92 GPA while studying Biology, and matched her academic honors – including a 2025 CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal and Honor Roll selection – with a strong season on the track.
