CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati Athletics and Cincinnati-based UMCincy announced on Monday a significant long-term partnership through the 2027-2028 athletic season. UMCincy will serve as the Official Mortgage Partner of Cincinnati Football and Cincinnati Baseball. The partnership was facilitated by Cincy Sports Partners, the Bearcats’ in-house sponsorship team. Through the partnership, UMCincy will launch Bearcat Mortgage, which will allow all UC faculty, staff, alumni and UC Health employees to qualify for a $1,500 closing cost credit on their home purchase with UMCincy. The program is available on all residential loan products offered through UMCincy, including conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, renovation, and investment property loans. (KNSI) – A 24-year-old Waite Park man is in custody after a shooting in Sartell Sunday morning and a brief manhunt. Sartell Public Safety Director Brandon Silgjord said Jakob Dylan Mohr turned himself in voluntarily and was taken into custody at around 11:50 a.m. Investigators had been searching for Mohr since earlier in the morning, when they say he fired multiple shots at another driver and then fled the scene. According to Silgjord, the Sartell Police Department responded to a report from a man who said he had been shot while driving. The victim told officers he had been traveling through St. Cloud when he noticed a vehicle following him closely and driving aggressively. Both vehicles continued northbound on Highway 15 out of St. Cloud before the victim exited onto County Road 120 in an attempt to get away. Near Sam’s Club, the suspect vehicle pulled alongside the victim’s car, and the driver fired multiple shots. One round struck the victim, who was able to call 911 after the suspect fled. The victim is being treated for his injuries and is expected to survive. Investigators later located the suspect vehicle at a bar in Sauk Rapids, though Mohr was not

"Everything suggests that responsibility for this attack lies with Hezbollah," Macron wrote. "France demands that the Lebanese authorities immediately arrest the perpetrators and take their responsibilities alongside UNIFIL." Macron identified the soldier as Sgt. First Class Florian Montorio of the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment from Montauban, France. Three other UNIFIL soldiers were wounded in the attack, Macron added, and all of them have been evacuated to a nearby hospital. The X competitor, which surged in popularity in the wake of Elon Musk’s purchase of what was then Twitter, is refusing to let users log in or to show them posts. Some users struggled to log in at all, while others could only see blank posts instead of the usual feed of updates. The problems were prevalent across the morning, according to tracking website Down Detector. They appeared to be reported across the world. Bluesky operates an official status page which is built to give updates on outages, but that also appeared to be affected by the problems. WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Head coach Matt Painter has announced that Jamyn Sondrup has signed his Big Ten Athletics Scholarship Agreement and is officially a member of the Boilermakers’ basketball program. Sondrup signed with the Class of 2026, but is deferring to the Class of 2028 as he will take a two-year mission trip and will not join the Boilermaker program until the 2028-29 season.
