About Policy Offices Press Office Press Releases 2026 July Ambassador Greer to Travel to Mexico for Continued USMCA Joint Review Bilateral Talks July 17, 2026 WASHINGTON – Ambassador Jamieson Greer will travel to Mexico from Wednesday, July 22, to Friday, July 24, to continue bilateral discussions related to the Joint Review of USMCA.  During the bilateral meetings, Ambassador Greer and Secretary Ebrard will discuss a range of topics including, steel and aluminum and derivative products, automobiles, economic security, labor, agriculture, and electronic payment services.  Ambassador Greer will also meet with President Sheinbaum at the National Palace to discuss progress in negotiations related to the USMCA Joint Review. ### 

Airbnb cofounder and CEO Brian Chesky appears to have been the target of a cyberattack, a source with knowledge of the situation tells Fortune. On Monday, Chesky’s X account shared a multi-post thread setting out a bullish view on “real-world asset tokenization,” a term from the crypto world that describes converting traditional assets like stocks into digital tokens. “I’ve been quietly keeping an eye on real-world asset tokenization for a while now,” the account wrote in the now-deleted series of tweets. “Most of it is noise. But underneath the noise, something real is happening.” Chesky is an active user of X, where he routinely shares product updates, earnings commentary, and lessons from building Airbnb with his more than 1.2 million followers. On Thursday, NHL teams posted creative videos to announce their 2026-27 schedules on social media. The Boston Bruins admins conveniently took a vacation leaving defenseman Nikita Zadorov in charge of posting the team’s upcoming schedule. NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf head coach Austin Phillips announced on Wednesday the signing of Roman Roth, an incoming transfer from Indian Hills Community College. “We are excited to have Roman join ODU and we know he will make a great impact on the program,” said Phillips. “He comes from one of the best junior colleges in the country, where he has produced top results against D1 competition. BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech’s major momentum in athletics hiring and fundraising continues with the addition of Brad Bell as Executive Associate Athletics Director of Advancement and Executive Director of the Hokie Club . Bell has served the past five years as associate athletic director for major gifts for the University of Georgia Athletic Association, raising tens of millions for a school that won College Football Playoff National Championship games in 2022 and 2023. His hiring comes as Virginia Tech Athletics has drawn national notice for a flurry of activity since September, when the university formalized a priority and an ambitious budget plan to compete for championships. Since then, the university has hired head football coach James Franklin to  rejuvenate a proud program , announced record-setting gifts to athletics in December and June , and hired Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White to succeed Whit Babcock . X is rolling out a small but notable change to how it surfaces content from people users follow back, according to a post from the platform's head of product, Nikita Bier. In a message published Monday, Bier said the company identified a gap in how the algorithm weighted relationships between users. "We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back)," Bier wrote. This Tweet is currently unavailable.
