A very small number of users can now no longer use Twitter on the iPhone 6, after the app dropped support for iOS 13. NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court asked Twitter on Monday to furnish its policy on blocking users posting objectionable content, saying the platform is not bothered about the sensitivities of people from "other regions" and ethnicities. The HC took a dim view of Twitter's reluctance to act against a user who repeatedly posted objectionable content against Hindu goddesses. When the site claimed it doesn't block individual accounts unless there is a court order, the HC retorted: "If this is the logic, why have you blocked Mr Trump?", referring to former US President Donald Trump. SINGAPORE - Local tech firm V V Technology has been stopped from using a bird logo as its trademark, following a dispute with American social media giant Twitter over the trademark's registration. The start-up had intended to display the logo in a mobile application that it has been developing since December 2018. The app is aimed to be a platform hosting a range of products and services catering to a user's personal lifestyle needs, such as online shopping and food delivery. It has yet to be launched. In its website, V V Technology said it employs the latest technology, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, to "reinvent the workplace" and is committed to creating a "smart, comprehensive enterprise and work management suite". Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died. He was 50. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” the band wrote in a Twitter statement on Friday, March 25. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.” Hawkins joined the music group — which is also comprised of Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and Franz Stahl — in 1997 after William Goldsmith‘s departure.
