McNeese improved to 3-5 on the season, while LSU dropped to 8-1 with its first loss since June 4, 2025, when the Tigers were defeated in an NCAA Regional game by Little Rock. LSU won its final eight games of the 2025 season en route to the National Championship, and the Tigers began the 2026 season with eight consecutive victories. Men’s basketball GLIAC Quarterfinal Tickets on Sale Wednesday – Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON, Mich. -- The No. 16 nationally-ranked Michigan Tech men's basketball team is opening the GLIAC Tournament as a host for the GLIAC Quarterfinal on Wednesday, March 4th, at 5:30 p.m. with the opponent still to be determined. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, February 25th at 10:00 a.m. both online and at the ticket office in the SDC.  Season ticket holders will have until Monday, March 2nd, at noon to reserve their seats for the quarterfinal game. Reserved adult tickets are $18 and general admission adult tickets are $14.  The Huskies are currently tied atop the GLIAC with Northern Michigan, playing to a 14-4 record with two games remaining in the regular season. Michigan Tech will host Parkside on Thursday (7:30 p.m.) before a Saturday tilt against Roosevelt on Saturday (2:00 p.m.) for Senior Day.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – FGCU extended its best start to a season in program history Sunday with a 14-7 win over Stonehill College. For the Eagles, four home runs – including two by Jon Embury – allowed the Eagles to secure their second sweep in as many weeks. Embury once again showcased his power with two home runs as part of his 2-for-3 performance with two runs scored and four RBIs while also drawing a walk. Through seven games the Eagles' catcher is hitting an impressive .469 with five home runs, 12 runs scored and 14 RBIs. Of his 15 hits this season, 10 have been for extra bases. In all, FGCU (7-0) slugged out 14 runs on 13 hits while drawing nine walks with five extra-base hits. Pitts scored a 9.850 on vault to win the vault title for the second consecutive meet. Samantha Macasu led the bars team with a career-best 9.875. The beam team scored a 49.100, led by Sophie Patterson, who tied her career high with a 9.875. Ava Johnson anchored the floor team with a 9.875, as the Spartans scored a 49.075. KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The South Carolina swimming and diving program wrapped up day five of the 2026 SEC Championships on Friday night inside the Allen Jones Aquatic Center. DAY FIVE Highlighting the Gamecocks performance was Pierre Largeron, who finished sixth overall with a personal best time of 4:11.88. To open the evening session, Delaney Franklin (2:10.34) and Molly Yacoviello ( 2:11.66) finished 12th and 20th, respectively, in the 200 breaststroke finals. On the men’s side, Einar Agustsson (1:53.31) and Harvey Freeman (1:55.31) placed 12th and 15th, respectively. Dylan Scholes picked up a 12th-place finish, recording a time of 22.17. In the women’s 500 freestyle, Breckin Gormley led the way, taking home 10th with a time of 4:39.72. Troy University has joined forces with TripShot to manage its fixed-route and on-demand transportation services on the Troy Campus. TripShot is an on-demand cloud-based software solution that will help TROY students travel the Troy community more efficiently while helping the University better manage its transportation resources. The Troy University Transportation Shuttle app went live on Feb. 6. “We are excited to partner with TripShot to provide our student riders with a safe and reliable campus transportation experience,” said Dean of Students Herbert Reeves. “We love the collaboration we get with TripShot and students will enjoy the greater ease of managing their transportation needs.” The transportation management solution offers a range of benefits such as real-time tracking of vehicles, improved route planning and enhanced safety measures. The solution also provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for both riders and dispatch teams. To access the app, students should download the TripShot app from the App Store, select “Troy” as the service name and login with their TROY SSO. From there the app is intuitive and straightforward, Reeves said.
