Former Georgia receiver Demetris Robertson has decided to transfer to Auburn University for his final year of eligibility. #WDE🦅 pic.twitter.com/FaRupWN8CK — Demetris Robertson (@d_rob4) July 8, 2021 Robertson, once a five-star recruit out of Savannah Christian School in Savannah, Ga., transferred to Georgia from the University of California in 2018 after suffering a season-ending knee injury in his sophomore season. In 2017 Robertson was a Freshman All-American for the Golden Bears. With the offseason addition of LSU transfer Arik Gilbert and Dominick Blaylock back off injury, Georgia’s receiver room grew a bit crowded and Robertson’s playing time chances took a hit. Robertson ends his Georgia career with 42 catches for 443 yards and three touchdowns, adding 10 rushes for 161 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Trump filed class-action complaints in federal court in Florida, alleging the tech giants are censoring him and other conservatives — a long-running complaint on the right for which there is little evidence and which the companies deny. The suits call for the court "to order an immediate halt to social media companies' illegal, shameful censorship of the American people," Trump said at a press conference at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. "We're demanding an end to the shadow banning, a stop to the silencing and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing and cancelling that you know so well." The long-shot legal actions are the latest escalation in Trump's long-running feud with the social media platforms that he used prolifically before and during his presidency. A tweet from the official Duke Alumni account is under fire for seemingly implying the onus for reducing carbon emissions is on people living in Africa. “Replacing traditional wood-burning stoves in sub-Saharan Africa with cleaner technology could offset carbon emissions—if people would use them,” the tweet reads. “A Duke team is addressing obstacles that prevent people from changing their practices.” The tweet then links to a story on the Duke Global Health Institute website. As of 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, the tweet has been quote tweeted 730 times and has over 200 replies, with many users criticizing Duke for not acknowledging how much of carbon emissions come from the United States and other Western countries.
