LinkedIN layoffs have reportedly begun, and fired employees are now writing posts on them being terminated from the company. Microsoft-owned LinkedIn is a popular job-search platform that connects users with recruiters (and vice versa). According to reports, LinkedIn is targeting employees on the recruitment team, although the number of people affected is unknown. LinkedIn layoffs appear part of Microsoft’s intention to slash 10,000 positions across multiple organisations. Apart from LinkedIN layoffs, reports also indicate that other Microsoft-owned firms, such as HoloLens and Xbox, are also laying off employees as part of a more comprehensive reorganisation strategy.
