Elon Musk has formally begun the process of terminating his acquisition of Twitter, according to a recent regulatory filing. In response, the social media company vows to make sure that the deal will go through and is already planning to take legal action against Elon who is the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.Already a popular figure on the platform, Elon’s roller-coaster ride with the social media company began back in April when he became its largest shareholder. The 9.2% stake was estimated to be worth around USD2.89 billion (~RM12.79 billion) at that time.Twitter then appoints Elon to its board but he eventually decided not to be part of it. Secret Service Director James Murray has left his post in order to take over as the Chief Security Officer for Snap Inc. The 27-year veteran will serve his last day with the storied security service on July 30, 2022. The Secret Service is the cream of the crop when it comes to security. It undertakes protecting the President of the United States, as well as many others who hold high position offices. James Murray, who has been front and center for the service for quite some time, had expressed his looking forward to retirement "for some time", according to a senior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official who spoke with The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity. But it seems retirement will have to wait a while longer, as the soon-to-be former Secret Service Director will be leading security efforts for Snap Inc., parent company of Snapchat. In a statement posted on the Secret Service's website, the agency stated Murray "helped the agency navigate the unique challenges presented by the historic COVID-19 pandemic" while continuing to perform "its integrated mission of providing protection to senior elected leaders and investigating crimes targeting our financial structure." MCGREGOR, Texas (KWTX/Gray News) - The Texas Department of Public Safety on Monday morning issued an Amber Alert for two Central Texas girls missing for days.McGregor authorities are searching for Emilee Solomon, 14, and Aysha Cross, 14, who have been missing since Tuesday, June 28. They were last seen in the 900 block of W. 10th Street in McGregor.On Saturday, McGregor police Lt. Ron McCurry said the disappearances of Emilee Solomon and Aysha Cross did not meet Department of Public Safety criteria for Amber Alerts, but added the situation is troubling because most young people in these situations are returned home safely within eight to 12 hours.KWTX on Monday confirmed with the McGregor Police Department that the case was upgraded to an Amber Alert when police were sent a screenshot from Cross’ Snapchat story with the message “help.”Police on Monday told KWTX they still don’t have much to go on, but an FBI agent is at their office to help.“We are following all leads and doing everything we can to find these young girls,” McCurry said.Volunteers and friends of the girls were searching parks in McGregor and other locations Saturday in an effort to find the teens.Sara Dunn, Emilee Solomon’s…
