Kid Cudi took the stage at Snapchat‘s Santa Monica studio to perform his brand-new single, “Neverland” — and the app’s users will be able to watch it next week. The rapper, singer and songwriter is the first artist to be featured in Under the Ghost, Snapchat’s new music performance series designed to “bring unique performances and conversations directly to the fans,” according to the company. “Under the Ghost isn’t about polished perfection, but rather an unfiltered glimpse into the creative process.” Kid Cudi said in a statement: “Performing ‘Neverland’ for the first time is a big moment for me. This song kicks off a whole new chapter in my sound and my story. (KXII) - Alexander Ybarra, 60, was arrested this week, after being accused of trying to get his 13-year-old neighbor to come to his home and watch porn with him. (kxii) An affidavit states Ybarra was sending the girl messages on Snapchat. It says the girl reported the messages to a family member, leading to his arrest. Deputies seized Ybarra’s phone and took him into custody. He is charged with enticing a child into a secluded place. His bond is set at $50,000 and he’s been ordered to stay away from the girl. Two men are suing the Dearborn Heights Police Department, alleging they were sexually assaulted and sexually harassed by a supervisor, their attorney said. Detroit-based law firm Marko Law said the lawsuit will be filed in Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit on behalf of Maxwell Bearden, of Wyandotte, and Hashim Zrien, of Dearborn. The firm said the police department violated the men's civil rights by discriminating against both, creating a hostile work environment and retaliating against them, according to the complaint. The plaintiffs are seeking damages and legal costs. In their lawsuit, police officers Bearden and Zrien claim they were sexually assaulted and sexually harassed by a sergeant who supervised them. Their complaint names the sergeant, the city of Dearborn Heights and its police department as defendants. According to the suit, Bearden officially joined the department in 2021 when he was 21 and worked the night shift. It alleges the sergeant began harassing him soon after he joined the force through text messages and Snapchat during and after work hours. It also said the sergeant coerced the officer to perform oral sex on Jan. 1, 2022. The lawsuit said it was the first of many occasions the plaintiff was assaulted.

In a coordinated FBI operation, Joseph Brandon, a former Crossville and Rockwood radio personality, Rockwood native, and self-described actor from Powell, Tennessee, was arrested on April 30, 2025, following a raid on his home at 7612 Cedarcrest Dr. Brandon, also known as Josh Brandon, faces charges of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child for allegedly collaborating with Michael Bledsoe of Haslett, Michigan, to solicit nude images from a 15-year-old girl, a relative of Bledsoe. The two men reportedly posed as a young girl on platforms like Kik and Snapchat to deceive the minor into sending explicit content, with court documents detailing their plans and conversations, including Bledsoe’s use of AI to create fake nude images of the victim. The FBI’s investigation began with a search of Bledsoe’s Michigan home on December 13, 2024, where child sexual abuse material and incriminating chats with Brandon were found, linking the two men. Brandon admitted to running similar schemes with other men online, using multiple Snapchat profiles to target minors. After appearing before a Knoxville judge on May 1, 2025, Brandon is set to be transferred to Michigan, where the case originates.
