KUWTK: Kylie Adds Throwback Pic of Jordyn Woods To New YouTube Video

Some KUWTK fans hope that Kylie wants to rekindle her friendship with Jordyn Woods and showed a pic of Woods on YouTube because she misses her. In a Halloween-inspired YouTube video, Kylie Jenner reviewed and rated her costumes from previous years, and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a selfie featuring Jordyn Woods. Jenner celebrated the spooky season with Jordyn Woods back in 2015.   At the moment, Kylie Jenner’s best friend is Anastasia Karanikolaou, also known as Stassie. Before Stassie, Kylie’s best friend was Jordyn Woods. The iconic duo of Kylie and Jordyn originally met in middle school, became close in high school, and remained friends in their young adult years. As portrayed on Life of Kylie, Woods and Jenner went on vacations and spent tons of time together. They got so close that Jordyn ended up living with Kylie. In February 2019, things were turned upside down in their friendship. Tristan Thompson, who is Khloé Kardashian’s baby daddy, was caught kissing Jordyn in early 2019. At that time, Tristan was Khloé's boyfriend. Kylie was put in the difficult situation of having to pick between her family and best friend. In the end, the Kylie Cosmetics founder chose her family and cut Woods out of her life. Ever since the scandal, Jenner has avoided discussing the issue publicly. It’s been almost two years since Jordyn and Kylie’s friendship ended. KUWTK fans often wonder if they miss each other and if there’s a chance that they’ll reunite.  Continue scrolling to keep reading Click the button below to start this article in quick view. In a recent Kylie Jenner YouTube video, she reviewed and rated her past Halloween costumes. The video started with her costume in 1998, when she was one year old. How to download a YouTube video

You can find just about anything on YouTube. For one reason or another, you may need to download some of that content and, luckily for you, there are a number of ways to download a video from YouTube based on what you need to do with it. How to download a YouTube video for offline playback The most common reason someone may want to download a video from YouTube is to watch the content when they’re not connected to the internet. Years ago, it required sketchy sites and programs to do this, but now it’s built into the YouTube app! Subscribe to YouTube Premium To enable offline playback on Android and iOS apps, you’ll need to be a YouTube Premium subscriber. The service costs $11.99/month. You’ll get more than just downloads, too, as YouTube Premium also delivers an ad-free experience and also unlocks YouTube Music, a streaming service that works with regular music (i.e. Spotify) as well as videos. You can sign up for YouTube Premium here. Find videos you want to download Once you’ve got a YouTube Premium membership, downloading videos for offline use is super simple. Simply visit the video you’d like to download and, underneath the video player, you’ll see a button marked “Download.” You can see this below as shown on an iPad. The process is basically identical on Android smartphones and tablets, and you can also download video from search results by tapping on the three-dot menu. How to download a copy of your own YouTube video If you’re a YouTube creator, it can be handy to keep copies of your work on hand. However, if something gets deleted by mistake, it can be a bit of a nightmare! Luckily, YouTube keeps a copy of every single video you upload — even if it’s set to…

See below for the 10 most-viewed music videos, according to YouTube.

Every music fan knows that a great music video requires multiple viewings--but only a few clips make their way into YouTube's exclusive "billion views club." Most recently, Whitney Houston crossed the billion views milestone with her 1992 hit, "I Will Always Love You." "Despacito," Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's smash collaboration that was inescapable at its peak in 2017, currently holds the title as the most-watched music video on YouTube, boasting more than seven billion views at the time of publication (for reference, the Earth has a population of 7.5 billion). Ed Sheeran's equally infectious "Shape of You" follows with five billion.

Google Launches YouTube Select In Australia

YouTube has launched a new premium content solution for advertisers to meet Australian viewers where they are consuming their content. With data showing more than 7 million Australians now watch YouTube on their TV screens (65 per cent YoY growth), YouTube Select offers more capabilities for the TV screen and gives advertisers greater choice in how they buy. YouTube Select was launched globally earlier this year. The new solution brings together preexisting solutions Google Preferred and Programs and Packages. YouTube Select ‘lineups’ – key categories including entertainment, beauty and fashion – are available in Australia via Google Ads, Display & Video 360, and reservation. Google Australia director of sales Rhys Williams said the new solution aims to align ads with viewer’s “passions”. “We know that engaged audiences are using YouTube to learn, discover ideas, to shape how they experience the real world in a whole bunch of new ways,” he said. “Going into 2021 we are reimagining our premium contextual advertising offering, known as Google Preferred, under a new global umbrella called YouTube Select.” Williams also revealed YouTube Select will put a greater emphasis on people viewing YouTube on their TV screen. “We’re seeing Aussies turning more and more to YouTube on the biggest screen in their home. This shift in viewing behaviour means lineups contain more TV screen inventory than ever,” he continued. Despite the sharp year-on-year growth in YouTube viewership on TV, Williams confirmed that advertisers are still adjusting to this consumption shift. “The numbers are getting pretty telling now, with over 7 million Australians watching on TV. It definitely makes sense to be optimising for the big screen as much as you might do it for a different type of screen,” he said. “We’re always talking to advertisers about how to build their creative so…

Babish expands as pandemic boosts YouTube cooking shows

Mac and cheese, 18th century style. A seven-course meal using only ingredients from a convenience store. A meal that is literally on fire.Four episodes into her new YouTube show, “Stump Sohla,” part of the expanding Babish Culinary Universe channel, Sohla El-Waylly has yet to be stumped by a food challenge.El-Waylly became a familiar face on YouTube as a standout on Bon Appetit’s test kitchen channel. But during the nationwide racial reckoning following the police killing of George Floyd, she was among members of the test kitchen who accused the channel’s owner, Condé Nast, of discriminatory compensation and other practices. A Condé Nast representative said race wasn’t a factor in setting pay.El-Waylly departed Bon Appetit in August after failed negotiations. Her new show is her own, pushing her to deploy her talent, charm and encyclopedic culinary chops to solve challenges.“My creativity comes from being put in difficult situations,” El-Waylly said during a break in shooting an upcoming episode. The series riffs on a game show, with a spinning wheel that determines which challenge El-Waylly will take on. In the second episode, in which she relies only on items purchased at a bodega to create a tasting menu, El-Waylly pours hot water over potato chips to rinse off the fat and make a mashed potato-esque purée. She expects it to “be gross.” But as she tastes it, a look of sheer satisfaction comes over her face. Leaving Bon Appetit for an independent YouTube channel could be considered risky, but the payoffs were noticeable almost immediately. The three months it took to create the whole “Stump Sohla” series was about how long it would take to produce one Bon Appetit video, El-Waylly said, given the hurdles of working at a large company with corporate red tape. Now, she says, “you can just have an...

AN EVENING WITH TIM HEIDECKER: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT?

From the YouTube description on Tim Heidecker’s first solo comedy special: “Filmed in Los Angeles in pre-COVID times and produced by Abso Lutely, it features Tim’s unique, no-holds-barred takes on modern inconveniences, PC culture, politics and marriage. You can call it a send-up, a parody, a character, a performance piece, or whatever you’d like, but at the end of the day, it’s jokes! Please clap.” AN EVENING WITH TIM HEIDECKER: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT? The Gist: Whether or not you know Tim Heidecker will go a long way toward determining whether or not you get what Heidecker is trying to pull off here. More of you will see him soon, as he’s one of the writers and creators of the new Showtime comedy, Moonbase 8, in which he’ll co-star alongside Fred Armisen and John C. Reilly. Heidecker already has proven himself a worthy foil on the big-screen in Us, as well as previous supporting roles on HBO’s Eastbound and Down and IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! But the bulk of his onscreen catalogue has come courtesy of Adult Swim, and Heidecker’s working relationships with Eric Wareheim, Gregg Turkington (aka Neil Hamburger) and Doug Lussenhop (aka DJ Douggpound). His list of credits includes Tom Goes to the Mayor; Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!; Funny or Die Presents…; On Cinema; Decker; Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories; Mister America; and earlier this year, Beef House. Many of these projects employed over-the-top and/or surreal visual and sound effects, bad acting, and inexplicable editing to convey the satire. None of which gets used during An Evening with Tim Heidecker. Rather, Heidecker adopts an alter-ego of himself, with a leather jacket, slicked-back and sprayed-put hair, and a bad attitude and an act he has refined for more than a decade that makes fun of comedians...

PSA: The Darkwing Duck DuckTales Special Is Streaming for Free on YouTube

Darkwing Duck, causing problems. Just like old times. Image: Disney XDThe terror that flaps in the night is a perfect companion for Halloween viewing. Even if he’s not really that scary. As you might know, DuckTales recently aired, as part of its latest season, a forty-five minute Darkwing Duck special that spends a lot of time in the purple superhero’s world. It introduces a lot of important elements of the character and maybe inches us closer to the standalone series he clearly deserves. Most importantly, it introduces Gosalyn Mallard, the hero’s erstwhile sidekick/conscience and, let’s be real, the real hero of Darkwing Duck’s ensemble. Now the whole special is available for free on YouTube. It’s a good special, too, drawing everyone into a multi-dimensional supervillain conspiracy. Which is, honestly, pretty ambitious for a cameo episode. Definitely check it out, and don’t forget to admire that wide-brimmed hat Darkwing is wearing. That hat is iconic, folks. Don’t you forget. DuckTales airs on Disney XD. For more, make sure you’re following us on our Instagram @io9dotcom.G/O Media may get a commission Read More

Spitting Image: Watch New Episodes for Free on YouTube Right Now

Spitting Image is back! The mercilessly vicious puppet show from 1980s British television has been revived for the 21st Century, specifically the Trump era, the Brexit era, the Big Tech era, and the Social Media era. And it's on YouTube! Yes, that's right… YouTube!"Spitting Image" key art, BritboxAvailable only on the Britbox streaming service, the new episodes are now available a few days after the broadcast to stream on the official Spitting Image YouTube Channel. As of this writing, all four episodes to date are available. The 4th episode feels like the show is comfortably settling in its stride.Just like in the 80s, the Fluck & Law show has no sacred cows. Spitting Image creates grotesque puppets of public figures and absolutely refuses to pander or flatter any of them. Unlike American Comedy, it has no desire to be loved. It wants you to hate these public figures for their hubris, ego, and outright evil. Those of us who grew up in Britain in the 1980s remember how it managed to permanently tar the public images of certain politicians. As Alan Moore said previously, satire is a kind of magical spell that can destroy a man's image forever. The show is an act of cultural assassination. It fires its bullets indiscriminately in all directions in that fine old British tradition of satirical contempt.Spitting Image 2020 has new puppets of real-life figures to skewer: Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, and their respective hairpieces, Mike Pence is grey-skinned and forgettable, British Home Secretary Priti Patel is a vampire, Jared Kushner is a literal lifeless stiff, Melania Trump sleeps in a coffin, the Coronavirus is a recurring character who has affairs with both Trump and Boris. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden is a steely, hippy Mary Poppins. Boris Johnson's adviser-cum-guru Dominic Cummings, hilariously described...
