As the cannabis business thrives, issues have arisen around commercial auto coverage. For example, companies that deliver are experiencing coverage challenges, and often without their knowledge. “So many dispensaries have vehicles on the road that aren’t properly covered, and they aren’t aware of it,” said Rocco Petrilli, chairman of the National Cannabis Risk Management Association. “We find it daily in the people we talk to. The attachment to cannabis makes the type of auto coverages these dispensaries need either overly expensive or even cost-prohibitive.”

MEDFORD, Ore. – After the Greenway Camping Ordinance vote, a Medford City Councilor is receiving backlash for comments he made on social media. He has now deactivated his Twitter account. Councilor Kevin Stine took to social media about protesters outside Medford City Hall. He tweeted saying “Living in their heads rent-free”. This comment angered homeless advocates all over Twitter and then silence. “I will support this ordinance because I have love and compassion,” said Councilor Stine in a council meeting earlier this month. People who share fake news and other questionable content on Twitter tend to display a cognitive style that is characterized by relying on their gut instincts, according to a new study published in Nature Communications. The findings provide evidence that a person’s level of cognitive reflection is related to their online behaviors.“I have an interdisciplinary background at the intersection of cognitive science and data science. This work is part of my broader area of research where I look at how the way our thinking styles relate to the way we act online on social media,” said study author Mohsen Mosleh (@_mohsen_m), an assistant professor at the University of Exeter Business School and research affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management.The researchers used the online Prolific platform to recruit 1,901 regular Twitter users. The participants completed a Cognitive Reflection Test, which contains questions that tend to generate quick and intuitive — but incorrect — answers.
